• DEMOCRACY, FINANCIAL JUSTICE AND SUSTAINABLE PEACE

  Democracy is a principle of governance that ensures equity, supremacy of the law and welfare of all citizens of a state using financial justice which entails an equal opportunity and fair ability for the entire people in society to pursue a financially autonomous, safe and healthy life, as an apparatus through which it realizes these tenets. In a country like Nigeria, democratic governance cum financial justice is the obiter dictum of sustainable peace. The objective of this paper is to unravel the paramount of the democratic process and financial justice to sustainable peace in Nigeria.
